My research focused on the role of symmetries in understanding the classification and characterisation of various phases.
-
Recent studies have revealed that symmetries have rich mathematical structures, which have intimate connections to intriguing physical properties of quantum many-body systems such as topological orders.
-
I would like to explore further this fascinating connection between symmetries and exotic phases. In particular, I am interested in gapless quantum matter, fracton phases, families of topological phases, and their relation to symmetries.
-
I hope to understand the landscape of quantum phases from the point of view of symmetries.
